In this section, I’m highlighting the importance of writing and the importance of writing. Good writing skills allow you to communicate your message with clarity and ease to a far larger audience

What Makes Writing So Important? Writing is the primary basis upon which your work, your learning, and your intellect will be judged—in college, in the workplace, and in the community.

Not only is writing an important academic skill, but it is also an important skill that translates into any career field. Outside of work and academia, writing helps us express ourselves, in other words writing expresses who you are as a person. Writing helps you form questions and ideas.

Writing every day helps you improve your communication skills, writing helps you remember what you have learned. Writing encourages a creative flow that can help you use your imagination, explore possibilities, delve into problem-solving, and engage in storytelling.

For a school essay:

Section 1: Introduce the argument

Section 2: Summarise the relevant literature

For college dissertation:

The transition from the college research paper to the doctoral dissertation is not as big a jump as you might think. The Rule of Five lives on in the canonical structure for the dissertation, which by now should look familiar:

Chapter 4: Analysis/findings
